What Are Fields and Why They Matter
Space Is Not Empty invites you to see with new eyes—to sense the unseen, to listen for the hum beneath the surface of things. It also offers a new way of growing, leading, and creating social change grounded in awareness of fields.

Fields are the invisible currents of energy, emotion, and information that move in, through, and around us. They are not abstractions, but living presences—shaping our thoughts, actions, and relationships, along with the social situations we co-create – whether life affirming or toxic. Field awareness helps us shift the latter toward the former.

Rooted both in ancient wisdom and emerging understandings from quantum physics and brain science, field awareness helps us understand that we are never separate or alone. We are part of a pulsing, dynamic web of connection—embedded within systems, communities, and the larger field of life itself.

To become aware of fields is to become co-creators of our worlds. It is to stand at the threshold where transformation begins—not by force, but through attention and resonance.

By becoming more aware of fields, you will gain insight into the hidden dynamics that drive behavior, communication, and group outcomes. Whether you're navigating a team meeting, a family conflict, or a moment of personal reflection, field awareness can help you respond with greater clarity and purpose.

We offer this book and website as a guide and companion and encourage you to tune your awareness and awaken your sense of belonging, so that you can help create life-giving social realities.

We hope to spark the same curiosity and wonder that inspired 19th-century scientists to look beyond Newton’s theory of gravity and realize that space is alive with dynamic fields shaping our shared reality. In that spirit, we invite you to become an explorer of fields—discovering how field awareness can help create a world more just, alive, and whole.
